Welcome to Project Furnace or Dark Reckoning RPG campaign, where players take on the role of federal agents tasked with an important mission that must be kept secret from the general public.

Our Concept

Because the PCs are tasked with secrecy in this mission, it’s paramount they execute it with discretion but also with intensity regarding the sensitive nature of the situation. Being part of law enforcement, they also are beholden to the laws and procedures of the Department of Justice. Intentionality over rashness is a must to prevent disastrous consequences for the government.

Our game combines storytelling with tactical gameplay, offering unique challenges that require teamwork to overcome. There will be a role for everyone. There will be time for action, but there is also a need for unraveling the red tape of the bureaucracy. The PCs will need to investigate leads and make critical decisions that will affect the outcome of their mission.

The campaign will have Character Base of 50 points with up to 50 points of Disadvantages. Be advised, do not take a disadvantage without being fully invested in roleplaying it. A disadvantage is not a vehicle to get more points to spend, but a tool for defining a character’s behavior and limitations. The GM will ask each player how they envision how the GM should and would implement this disadvantage in the game.

Discussions with the GM concerning your character and how you intend to play him are tantamount to the success for this campaign. Don’t be afraid to speak to the GM about concerns and possibilities.
